It's not just the area's most
interesting country
radio show - it's the area's most interesting radio show of any genre. Even
people who don't like country music find themselves listening to Todd for
his pleasant wit, funny features, and intimate knowledge of everything that
goes on in the Copper Country. From Copper Harbor to Covington... from
Ontonagon to Michigamme... Todd has his finger on the pulse of the Keweenaw.
With successful radio gigs in large, downstate markets
including Bay City, Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo (where he hosted the most
popular morning show in the southwest part of the state), Todd moved to the
U.P. because - he LIKES it here. How did he know? He sort of grew up here.
Todd's grandfather built a hunting camp near Kenton in 1941, and Todd
remembers coming to the area even before the US-41 bypass was built in
Marquette. The camp is still there - and now, Todd is here, too!
So, tune in at 5:30 (yes, Todd starts earlier than the
other morning shows) each morning Monday through Saturday (yes, Todd works
weekends), and enjoy the Stoopid Criminals
Report, Show Biz News, the Nitty Gritty from
Music City, That's Outrageous, and a host of other funny features. You'll
hear local sports at 5:45, 6:15, 7:15 and 8:15... and a classic cut pulled
from Todd's extensive Country Music Calendar archive at 20-past each hour.
You'll also get the Keweenaw's Most Accurate
Forecast every 15 minutes, with real-time updates from someone who's
actually looking out a local window.
And... Todd loves to hear from you! Call him at
1-888-377-9287.
Email Todd in the studio during the show.
He'll be happy to play your request, salute someone on a special occasion,
or help promote your upcoming event. Don't be shy - he's really a nice guy!
Todd lives in L'Anse, and is active in the community,
and with the L'Anse United Methodist Church. In his spare time, he's a
musician, and has played keyboard for the Rolling Thunder Band at the
Chassell Country Music Show and the E.B. Holman Jamboree, handbells with the
Bells on the Bay Handbell Ensemble, trombone with the Copper Country
Community Band, tuba at the L'Anse Variety Show, guitar at the Aura
Jamboree, and ukulele on the morning show.
