Disturbed – Inside The Fire ***** (Album: Indestructible)

Review: The long-awaited single from Disturbed has arrived and it kicks total ass!!! “Inside The Fire” is the newest single off of Disturbed’s newest album “Indestructible” and it is one of the songs of the week inside New Music Thursday! This single is amazing and also indestructible (Excuse the pun!). It is old Disturbed and it is new Disturbed. This song is so amazing it is basically priceless and leaves you speechless. Do you wanna know how good/popular this song is? As soon as it came out…it got over 400+ spins in one day all over the U.S.!!! Amazing, eh? You have to listen to it to believe me. “Indestructible” hits stores 6/3/08…you NEED to remember this date because this album is worth the buy! Pop Evil – Hero ***** (Album: Pop Evil)

Review: When you find a band from downstate…and you know they’re big down there…you know they’re also gonna be big up here! Pop Evil’s newest single is called “Hero” and it is the other song of the week inside New Music Thursday! These guys hail from Grand Rapids, Michigan…and with help from other stations downstate…they have risen on to the top! This song has everything that makes you want to mosh inside your own house with your own kids (That would be interesting…). Kick-ass guitar, kick-ass vocals, kick-ass drums…KICK-ASS EVERYTHING!!! It’salmost up there on the pedestal with Disturbed’s newest single…its priceless! Their self-titled album is hitting stores soon…and I am pretty damn sure it’ll be in the U.P. when they come out with it! If not…check out their MySpace

Raconteurs – Salute Your Solution **** (Album: Consolers of the Lonely)

Review: And when you think Jack White from the White Stripes has nothing else better to do…he continues with his side project of The Raconteurs. “Salute Your Solution” is the newest single off of their newest album and it is quite interesting to say the least. I mean…you should know how Jack White does his thing now…uses a lot of effects in his songs. You would think this has a White Stripes kinda feel to it…but it’s a little different. It’s faster and more poppy…and a little heavier. I was never a big fan of the White Stripes, let alone Jack White…but sometimes when you do a different project or join a different band…you get a different perspective of someone else, and the perspective of this band is good! “Consolers of the Lonely” just hits stores this past Tuesday…if you think you like it…I’d say give it a shot.
