SUMMARY:Northern Now Features Virtual Cooking Segment
DESCRIPTION:Northern Michigan University Alumni Relations will host a Northern Now digital event for alumni and friends that features a virtual cooking segment with students in NMU’s hospitality leadership program\, under the guidance of instructor/chef and 2010 alumna Alden MacDonald. The segment will be available at 7 p.m. EST Wednesday\, Nov. 13. \nStudents will prepare dishes that represent them as culinarians\, showcasing skills they’ve learned throughout their educational journey at Northern. They will be cooking inside the state-of-the-art kitchen in the Northern Center – the home for the NMU hospitality leadership program – and guests will get a behind-the-scenes look at the facility virtually. \nQuestions will be taken live during the event. The event is free and registration is required here to obtain a link to the live stream.
