Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting in their region. You’ll also get a glimpse of both the eastern and western termini of the North Country Trail\, as Michael has hiked to both! A total of 120 trees will be available during the event.. \nThe initiative is part of an ongoing community effort to increase access to healthy\, locally grown food while helping address long-term food insecurity throughout the region. \nKeats Dormont\, Education Coordinator for Partridge Creek Farms said “This event is about empowering families and community members with the tools and knowledge to grow food locally for years to come. By planting fruit and nut trees today\, we are investing in a healthier and more sustainable future for our community.” \nThe event is supported by Partridge Creek Farm\, Partridge Creek Compost\, and the Ishpeming High School Horticulture Class. The free community event brings together local wellness practitioners\, artisans\, and educators for a day focused on holistic health and connection. \n\nAttendees can explore a wide range of holistic offerings\, including: \n\nMassage therapy and energy work\nHolistic health assessments and education\nTarot and oracle card readings\nHandcrafted wellness products\nVisits with mental health therapy dogs\n\n\nThe fair will also feature presentations and mini-workshops throughout the day covering topics such as holistic wellness\, mental health\, and personal growth. \n\n“The fair has grown so much over the years that I’m excited to expand and offer a spring event in addition to the traditional November fair\,” said event coordinator Michelle Nichols. “My goal is to create a welcoming space where people can explore different approaches to wellness and meet local practitioners.” \n\nAttendees can also enter to win door prizes throughout the event. \n\nThe traditional Marquette Holistic Health Fair will continue to be held each November.

Shoppers can choose from fresh\, locally grown\, seasonal produce\, baked goods\, locally raised meat and eggs\, kombucha\, coffee\, bread\, hot sauce\, and more! Our artisans offer handcrafted goods such as soaps\, lotions\, jewelry\, woodworking products\, and knitted products\, to name a few. \nThe Community Table will host local organizations and groups. The Master Gardeners will kick off the first few markets to help answer questions about plant starts and how to get your garden going for this growing season. \nA full lineup of programming and events can be found on the market’s event calendar on the market’s website.
