DESCRIPTION:Copper Country 100 Women Who Care Hosts Second Giving Meeting August 13th \n  \nHLocal women looking to make a difference in their community are invited to attend the second giving meeting of Copper Country 100 Women Who Care on Wednesday\, August 13th\, at 6:30 p.m. at The Lodge Luxury Suites\, located at 101 Front Street in Hancock. \n  \nCopper Country 100 Women Who Care is part of a growing national movement that brings women together to create a powerful collective impact\, quickly and efficiently. Members commit to giving $100 four times per year. At each quarterly meeting\, three local nonprofit organizations are nominated and presented. After a group vote\, all donations are pooled and awarded to the nonprofit that receives the most votes. \n  \nAt the first meeting in April 2025\, the group selected Omega House as its inaugural recipient\, awarding a total of $5\,600 to support the organization’s mission of providing compassionate end-of-life care. \n  \nMeeting Details: \n  \n● Date: Wednesday\, August 13th\n● Time: Doors open at 6:00 p.m.\, Meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. (optional social time to\nfollow)\n● Location: The Lodge Luxury Suites\, 101 Front St\, Hancock\n● What to Bring: An optional snack to share; there is no obligation to donate at your first\nmeeting \n  \nThe event will be held in the lower-level event space\, which is accessible without stairs from the south driveway.
