The goal is to help every school-aged child begin the year with dignity\, comfort\, and the confidence that comes from having brand-new essentials. \n  \nDistribution \nThe Angel Mission is again partnering with The Salvation Army – Copper Country – Bread of Life Center to distribute these essentials through CCAM’s Backpack and TSA’s Stuff the Bus programs in August. \n  \nCollection Box Locations \n CCAM Store \n The Salvation Army\, Hancock \n Dollar General\, Allouez \n Incredible Bank\, Calumet and Houghton \n Auto-Pro Glass & Tire\, Houghton \n Houghton Walmart entrances \n Faith Lutheran Church\, Laurium \n Bethany Lutheran Church\, Mohawk \n Shepherd of the Sea\, Copper Harbor \n  \nMonetary Donations \nMonetary donations may be mailed to CCAM\, 433 5th St.\, Calumet\, MI 49913. DESCRIPTION:Better Together will meet on Thursday\, August 13 at 9:30 at the Zion Lutheran Church on 400 Ingot Street in Hancock. The speaker and special music will be provided by Yvonne Blake of Ontonagon.  Yvonne is a professional recording artist and composer. In addition to her music\, she will speak on\, “Women Walking With Women.”  Her topic fits perfectly with the goal of Better Together. All area women are invited to attend this fun and inspiring event. A brunch will be served and there is a suggested donation of $10.  All proceeds over the cost of the event will be donated to local charities.
