Dr. Debra Smith\, a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher and psychologist\, will deliver brief talks exploring various aspects of meditation and its impact on our lives. He currently stars as Dave Johnson in the CBS sitcom “The Neighborhood\,” opposite Cedric the Entertainer\, and will appear in season four of “The White Lotus.” \nRecent credits include Netflix’s “Running Point\,” opposite Kate Hudson\, “First Time Female Director\,” alongside Amy Poehler\, and Jerry Seinfeld’s “Unfrosted.” \nOn the film side\, Greenfield appeared in “Promising Young Woman” opposite Carey Mulligan\, “What Men Want” with Taraji P. Henson and “The Glass Castle” alongside Brie Larson. \nBeyond the screen\, Greenfield is a bestselling children’s book author. His debut\, “I Don’t Want to Read This Book\,” was followed up with “I Don’t Want to Read This Book Aloud” and “This Book Is Not a Present.”  \nPlatform Personalities is a student organization dedicated to bringing educational\, motivational and inspirational speakers to campus. DESCRIPTION:April 7 \n7:00pm \nOre Dock Brewing Company. \nMarquette Maritime Museum’s Maritime History on Tap presents The Ghost of Lighthouse Keeper Adam Sayles on April 7\, 7:00pm at the Ore Dock Brewing Company. Keeper Sayles died of a heart attack in the Lighthouse on December 18\, 1942\, and some think he still haunts the Lighthouse today. Evan Sparks\, Museum intern\, will give some background on Keeper (and booze smuggler) Sayles\, followed by Yooper Paranormal sharing stories about Sayles’ presence in the Marquette Lighthouse during paranormal investigations. Tickets are $5 at the door. This program is sponsored in part by the Ore Dock Brewing Company and from a grant by Upper Michigan Energies Resources – WE Foundation.
