DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, January 17\, 2026.  \n10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  \nPeter White Public Library Kids Room.  \nThe annual Kids Winter Reading program has returned! Winter Reading: STICK with Reading is open to all children 0-14. This year kids will read to choose from tiered levels of progressively more awesome stickers. Join us in kicking off Winter Reading with a Family Read-In! There will be cozy reading nooks set up throughout the kids’ room for kids and families to sit and read together\, either out loud or quietly. Other activities during the kick-off event will include registering for winter reading & getting reading sheets\, decorating a sticker collecting container\, earning extra prize stickers via the kickoff BINGO card\, cookies and hot cocoa (from 11am-1pm only)\, a sticker mural\, and more! If you miss kickoff\, register online for Winter Reading at any time before the program ends on February 28 and then stop by the library to get your reading sheet. No admission charge.
