UPAWS Strut Your Mutt 2025 

Join us for the Biggest Dog Party of the Year!

The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter’s 20th Annual Strut Your Mutt fundraiser will be held Saturday, Sept. 13th at Mattson Lower Harbor Park in Marquette. Registration begins at 9 a.m., with the walk at 10 a.m.

There will be refreshments for people and pets, dog contests, and prizes for the top three fundraisers in adult and youth categories. Doggie contests with prizes for the pooches, including a costume contest and pet tricks! Have fun visiting with all the dogs! Every registered walker gets a goodie bag and a Strut bandana for their dog.

Participants who register by Sept. 6th are eligible to be selected as “Leader of the Pack” and will lead off the walk. Cost to register before Sept. 6th is $15 for adults, $5 for youth. Registration after Sept. 6th is $20 and $10, respectively. You can also register right at the event.
