Forsyth Forward Open House & Ribbon-Cutting

Forsyth Forward invites the public to attend its official open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, October 22, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 184 W. Flint Street, Gwinn. The ribbon-cutting will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m., followed by a special presentation from the Lake Superior Community Partnership (LSCP) on services and resources available to small businesses.

Alan Cook, Executive Director of Forsyth Forward, will provide a brief overview of the organization’s mission to advance the quality of life for every citizen through economic, educational, and cultural growth. Forsyth Forward serves as Forsyth Township’s economic development office, chamber of commerce, and tourism bureau, supporting local business growth and community development.

The event is free and open to the public. Guests will enjoy complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and finger foods, and the first 25 attendees will receive a free bag of Explore Our Wild Coffee. Additionally, Forsyth Forward will give away a one-year business membership, a one-year nonprofit membership, and a free website landing page to one business and one nonprofit.

The public is invited to celebrate Forsyth Township’s forward momentum and discover the resources available to help the community thrive.
