47th Annual Lake Gogebic Fall Walleye Tournament

LAKE GOGEBIC, MI – Anglers, mark your calendars! 

The Lake Gogebic Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the 47th Annual Lake Gogebic Fall Walleye Tournament, taking place Friday, September 12 and Saturday, September 13, 2025. Known as the premier fishing competition in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, this two-day tournament draws fishermen from across the Midwest eager to test their skills on the legendary waters of Lake Gogebic. This annual tradition is more than just a tournament—it’s a celebration of community, camaraderie, and world-class fishing. Participants will compete for cash prizes, bragging rights, and the title of Fall Walleye Champion. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a weekend warrior, the Lake Gogebic Fall Walleye Tournament offers excitement for everyone. 

  • Dates: Friday, September 12 & Saturday, September 13, 2025. Boats leave the Bergland Dock at 8:00 a.m. EST each day. 
  • Location: Lake Gogebic, Michigan’s Upper Peninsula – Bergland Township. 
  • Register: by Sept 6th to receive early bird rate of $50; after 9/6, registration increases to $75!
