The annual Upper Peninsula Gem and Mineral Show brings together rock and mineral enthusiasts from all over the Great Lakes region to enjoy vendors showing off rock and mineral samples, fossils, gemstones, rock jewelry and other rock and mineral crafts for a weekend that really, “Rocks”!  

The weekend offers rockhounding field trips to mines and quarries in the area. Dates and details are still being unearthed.

Saturday is a full day of auctions, raffles, door prizes, exploring the gems, minerals, jewelry, and fossils. The Elks Lodge has a full cash bar to keep you hydrated throughout the show.

At 7:00 PM the Ishpeming Rock & Mineral Club welcomes the general public to the Elk’s Lodge for keynote speakers, presentations, and evening social with fellow rockhounds.
