All proceeds will benefit Great Lakes Recovery Centers’ Compassionate Care Fund. Through the Compassionate Care Fund, individuals are able to access GLRC’s services and get the help they need even if they are not able to pay for them. This is beneficial for clients who may be uninsured, under insured, or are not eligible for governmental or community funding. Individuals receiving assistance from the Compassionate Care Fund may be from anywhere in the Upper Peninsula. Although many clients receiving funds through the Compassionate Care Fund are receiving residential treatment, the fund may also be used for GLRC’s other services, including outpatient counseling, group sessions, and recovery housing.
Great Lakes Recovery Centers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides a variety of substance abuse and mental health services and programming across all 15 Upper Peninsula counties. In 2024, GLRC was able to impact the lives of over 4,000 individuals through their diverse range of services. It is through our sponsors that we are able to successfully put on this event and continue having the impact we have while fulfilling our mission to empower recovery through hope and change as we have been for over 40 years.
