Hello everyone!
We’re looking forward to kicking off the first Downtown Connect meeting of the year and hope you’ll join us for an important conversation about where downtown Marquette has been, and where we’re headed next. At this meeting, we’ll review downtown visitation trends from 2025 and share what those patterns may mean for business opportunities in 2026. We’ll also provide an update on snow removal efforts, highlight upcoming events and ways businesses can participate, and discuss a timely topic as we head into tax season: the personal property tax exemption. Many small businesses may be eligible and are unknowingly leaving money on the table, and we’ll walk through what you should know.
Downtown Connect is your opportunity to have a direct voice in shaping the future of Downtown Marquette. These meetings are where major decisions are made on community events, initiatives, and development projects that affect us all. Is there something you’d like to see brought to life downtown, or a change you believe would better serve the business community? Please attend, share your perspective, and help us make decisions that strengthen and grow our downtown together.
