The next General Membership Meeting of the Marquette Area Chapter of the North Country Trail will take place on Thursday, May 1st, from 6-8 PM in the Community Room at the Peter White Public Library.
We’re excited to welcome Phil Carter of Partridge Creek Compost as our featured speaker. Phil will discuss the benefits of composting and share local opportunities for waste diversion. Composting is one of the simplest and most effective ways to fight climate change. This will be an interesting look at how everyday actions can make a meaningful difference for the planet.
We’ll also hear updates from our trail crew leaders on the current state of the trail in our region. Plus, you can learn about upcoming chapter activities and volunteer opportunities.
All are welcome – membership is not required to attend!
We hope to see you there.
