Northern Michigan University will host a staged reading of “Find a TV,” a play about regional residents’ memories of the 9/11 attacks, based on dozens of oral interviews. Three readings are scheduled at 7 p.m. Thursday-Friday, March 26-27, and 2 p.m Saturday, March 28, in Jamrich 1100. They are free and open to the public, though donations are appreciated. Each performance will be followed by a discussion with the cast. crew and writers.

The project is a collaboration between the NMU Honors Program, the Department of Theatre & Dance and the Found Space Theatre Company at NMU.

Honors Program Assistant Director Anna Zimmer and NMU Theatre Professor Jimmy Ludwig wrote the play. It will showcase dozens of interviews that students in the Honors Program conducted with regional residents about their memories of 9/11. This September will mark the 25th anniversary of that event.

For more information, contact Zimmer at anzimmer@nmu.edu or Ludwig at jiludwig@nmu.edu.
