Public Input On Marina Fiscal Policy

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board is seeking public input on the Marina Fiscal Policy. City Staff have recognized a significant increase in marina-related costs and capital improvements. To offset costs and mitigate the financial burden on the City, incremental increases in fees are being proposed. Those who are interested in providing input may do so during the two public comment periods at the August Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee meeting. The meeting is on Monday, August 18, 2025 at 5:45 p.m. at the Citizens Forum in Lakeview Arena at 401 E. Fair Avenue. Those who cannot attend can email a written comment to the staff liaison, Andrew MacIver at amaciver@marquettemi.gov.
