PWPL Presents: Author Visit – Watch Them Grow: The Fascinating Science of Animal Beginnings

The Peter White Public Library invites curious minds to a special author event with Marquette writer Carrie A. Pearson on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 2:00–3:00 p.m. in the PWPL Community Room.

Sure, baby animals are cute, but have you ever wondered what they look like before they’re born? In Watch Them Grow: The Fascinating Science of Animal Beginnings, Pearson takes readers ages 8–12 on a captivating journey into genetics, gestation, and early development. Through fascinating facts and vivid imagery, discover how bats form wings to take flight, how mice grow whiskers to explore their world, and the many surprising ways life begins. The event will include an interactive activity for participants. Families are welcome, and Snowbound Books will be on-site with copies of Watch Them Grow available for purchase and signing by the author.
