This meeting is a meeting of the Board of Education for the purpose of conducting the School District’s business and is not to be considered a public community meeting. There is a time for public participation during one (1) period designated on the Agenda as, “Comments from the Public.” Attendees should register their intention to participate in the public participation portion of the meeting before the meeting is called to order. Individuals may not register others to speak during public participation. Participants must first be recognized by the presiding officer and will be requested to preface their comments by an announcement of their name; address; group affiliation, if and when appropriate. Each statement made by a participant shall be limited to five (5) minutes duration. During the portion of the meeting designated for public participation, no participant may speak more than once. Participants shall direct all comments to the Board and not to staff or other participants. Please be advised that this is not an opportunity for participants to converse in a two-way communication with the board, or other members of the community, but for the board to hear comments or concerns.
