Marquette – Youth Sailing Lessons

Youth Sailing Lessons Offered this Summer   The Marquette Junior Yacht Club will again offer youth sailing lessons this summer to the public. The program will provide the basic fundamentals of sailing for beginner ages 8-17 and expanded skill training for returning intermediate sailors. Instruction takes place both on and off the water by certified sailing instructors at the Marquette Yacht Club location, E Main Street, Marquette. Students will convene daily at the MJYC boathouse space generously donated by the Marquette Fish Producers.   The 2025 schedule is as follows: July 7 – July 11, July 14 – July 18,

Downtown Marquette Market Opener

MARQUETTE, MI- The first market of the Downtown Marquette Wednesday Night Farmers Market 2025 season is next Wednesday, June 11, from 5 PM – 8 PM on the 100 block of W.. Washington St. The Wednesday Evening Farmers Market is shutting down the 100 block of W. Washington St. in Downtown Marquette to bring the festive summer experience to the market and to the downtown every Wednesday this summer season. The Street closes at 3 pm and opens again at 9 pm. Troy Graham Concert on the Steps

Negaunee City Band Concert

The Negaunee City Band plays its first concert of the 2025 season on Wednesday, June 11, at 7:30 p.m. at the Outdoor Performing Arts Center at the east end of Iron Street. The band will play weekly through August 6, with all concerts scheduled for Wednesday evenings.  Some seating is available, but attendees may wish to bring their own chairs.
