The City of Gladstone is set to host the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Masters Walleye Circuit (MWC) Qualifier on July 18 and 19, marking a significant event for both the local community and competitive fishing enthusiasts. It is organized in partnership with and sponsored by the Delta County Chamber of Commerce, the City of Gladstone, Hannahville Indian Community, the Bays de Noc Sportsfishermen, and Visit Escanaba. Northern Michigan University Theatre and Dance will host its Wildcat Performing Arts Academy Summer Dance Intensive for high school intermediate- to advanced-level dancers July 13-27. Participants will attend sessions led by prominent industry professionals from Giordano Dance Chicago, Ballet Project OC of California, a former Broadway touring company member and others. They will also perform alongside the two visiting ensembles and NMU CO/LAB Dance Company during the North Coast Dance Festival, which consists of a masterclass and two public performances. Eagle Mine to offer Free Public Tours of Facilities CHAMPION, Mich., April 22, 2025—A series of public tours of Eagle Mine facilities will be offered during the summer. Tour locations will alternate between the Eagle Mine in Big Bay and the Humboldt Mill in Champion on Thursdays from July to September.
