Monday, August 4, 2025 – Friday September 19, 2025. Peter White Public Library, Teen Zone and Youth Services. PWPL will be accepting gently used & clean Halloween costumes and dress-up apparel starting August 4 for the Halloween Costume Swap. Families can attend the costume swap on Saturday, September 23 and look for a new-to-you costume! Drop off gently used and clean costumes to the Teen Zone or Youth Services from August 4-September 19. All Costumes will be free of charge. No donation needed to attend the swap. Tuesday September 9, 2025. Peter White Public Library Great Room. Youth of all ages and skill levels are invited to cozy up and work on their crochet, knit and weaving skills! Once a month youth can come to work on creations from home or work on a new pattern with fellow yarn spinners. Some tools and yarn will be provided, and parents are encouraged to attend with their kids to work on projects of their own. Drop-in program; staff will help kids with patterns when able. Eagle Mine Free Public Tours

Eagle Mine to offer Free Public Tours of Facilities CHAMPION, Mich., April 22, 2025—A series of public tours of Eagle Mine facilities will be offered during the summer. Tour locations will alternate between the Eagle Mine in Big Bay and the Humboldt Mill in Champion on Thursdays from July to September. Mediate Marquette and PWPL have collaborated to offer a weekly, in-person mindfulness meditation program. The sessions begin at 6:00 pm followed by a period of fellowship. Dr. Debra Smith, a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher and psychologist, will deliver brief talks exploring various aspects of meditation and its impact on our lives.
