Copper Country Soccer Association and Houghton FC are reminding families that registration for Summer Recreational Soccer opportunities will close on May 7th. Registration is open for boys and girls born from 2007 to 2021. Both area soccer clubs have combined efforts to offer one recreational program for area youth this summer. Keweenaw Lions Club will hold their annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser on Sunday, May 4th. Dine-in with carryout available, at the Mohawk School from 11:00 to 2:00. Same cost, $12 per meal includes spaghetti, garlic bread, cole slaw and baked goods. Limited to 300 tickets, which are available from Keweenaw Lions Club members or by calling Marty & Syd at 289-4306 or Brian at 370-1454. Any extra tickets will be available at the door.
