Better Together will meet on Thursday, August 14 at 9:30 at the Zion Lutheran church on 400 Ingot Street in Hancock. The speaker will be Duffy Lepisto and her topic will be “How God Provides.”  Duffy and her husband Russ spend winters in southern Texas ministering to people there, and in Mexico. Copper Country Community Band Announces Summer Concert Series The Copper Country Community Band is proud to present a series of five summer concerts across the Keweenaw. Under the direction of Amy Johnson and Micah Erickson, this all-volunteer group of approximately 35 musicians from across the Copper Country will bring audiences a lively mix of marches, classic concert band repertoire, and popular medleys. All concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. – All concerts are free to attend. Donations are gratefully accepted at the other concerts, with the concert on Thursday, August 28 specifically going towards the Houghton County Road Commission, to raise funds
