Noteworthy Invites New Members Do you love to sing? Want to add some fun and friends to your life? The women’s chorus Noteworthy is welcoming new members. The first rehearsal is at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept.4, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Hancock. This lively barbershop ensemble is known for its intricate harmonies and singable melodies. Copper Country Community Band Announces Summer Concert Series The Copper Country Community Band is proud to present a series of five summer concerts across the Keweenaw. Under the direction of Amy Johnson and Micah Erickson, this all-volunteer group of approximately 35 musicians from across the Copper Country will bring audiences a lively mix of marches, classic concert band repertoire, and popular medleys.
