Baraga County Communities That Care invites the community to join us for a powerful evening of awareness, remembrance, and hope at the Paint the Field Blue event on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the L’Anse High School football field, home of the L’Anse Hornets. This special high school football game will highlight suicide prevention efforts in our community. In honor of Suicide Prevention Month, players will wear blue socks and cheerleaders will wear blue bows—the color symbolizing suicide awareness and prevention.
