Marquette -Silver Creek Church and Silver Creek Thrift are partnering with Feeding America West Michigan to host a Feeding America Mobile Food Pantry on Thursday, October 10. The distribution of food will begin at 10:00am and continue while supplies last or until 11:30am. Food will be available for approximately 550 families. Due to changes with Feeding America West Michigan, proxy pickup will be limited.. This will be a drive-thru event with directions given by parking lot attendants. MARQUETTE, Mich., Sept. 17, 2024 – Northern Michigan University WellBeing today announced that will host “Wildcat World Mental Health Day” on Thursday, Oct. 10, coinciding with World Mental Health Day, an effort by the World Health Organization (WHO) to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and to mobilize efforts in support of mental health. Northern Michigan University will present the daring and provocative musical Cabaret Oct. 3-5 and 10-12. The play is set in a Berlin nightclub as the 1920s draw to a close.
