    Free Oral Health Assessments   WHO:  Anyone 60 years and older WHEN:  August 11, 2026 WHERE:  Ojibwa Senior Citizens @ 10:30am WHAT:  Each participant will have an oral health assessment, including an Oral Cancer Screening – FREE!  No appointment necessary! FREE:  Each participant will also receive free oral health aids (toothbrush, toothpaste, denture supplies, dry mouth products, etc.) PURPOSE OF THIS PROJECT:  The Senior Smile Survey is supported by the Delta Dental Foundation.  By participating in this survey you will help Michigan leran more about the oral health needs of its Senior Citizens.  All of your information will be kept

  • NMU Music Hosts Summer Concert Series

    NMU Reynolds Recital Hall Marquette, Michigan

    The Northern Michigan University Department of Music will present a second season of Its series, Summer Concerts at Reynolds (SCR). This year’s events will all take place at 5 p.m. in Reynolds Recital Hall on Tuesdays in July and August. Admission is free, though donations will be gratefully accepted, with all proceeds benefiting the department to enhance the experience for students. This summer, SCR is highlighting music department faculty members, who are highly trained professional musicians as well as full-time educators. They will present both solo and group performances.   • Marquette Trail 50 Ultramarathon

    Marquette, MI 49855   Dates: August 14, 2026 – August 15, 2026   The Marquette Trail 50 is an ultramarathon (a foot race with distances beyond the marathon distance of 26.2 miles) along some of Marquette’s most scenic and pristine trails.   The Marquette Trail 50 consists of a 50-kilometer and 50-mile event held on Saturday and a 5K and kids mile on Friday.
