• 43rd Annual Old Victoria Craft Fair

    Visit the Old Victoria Historical Site on Sunday, August 16th to experience a piece of history at the 43 rd Annual Craft Fair. The free event will take place on the grounds of the historic copper mining village just outside of Rockland from 10 am to 5 pm EST. Three of the four restored cabins and the sauna will be open for self-guided tours free of charge for the event.     Copper Shores Outreach & Education is hosting CPR Training on Monday, August 17 and Monday, September 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Twin Lakes Volunteer Fire Department. Training costs $55 per person, with a maximum capacity of eight people.   The American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED/Blended Learning training program includes first aid, CPR and AED instruction in a preliminary online course (that will take about two hours to complete), followed by a hands-on, in-person skills session with trainers that will take about two hours.   Registration is open now at coppershores.org.
