Want to download travel apps before you leave town? Need help utilizing the library’s Memory Lab or navigating Libby? Learn how to make your electronic devices work the way you want, with the help of Christine Ault, retired teacher and teach coach, Tuesday mornings from 10 AM – 3 PM during June, July and August in the Local History Research Room of the Peter White Public Library. Mediate Marquette and PWPL have collaborated to offer two weekly, in-person mindfulness meditation programs. Sessions will include a combination of talks, seated meditation, and movement practices. On Saturday, September 19, 2026 (11am–4pm), we’ll be hosting the Big Bay Fall Fest at Draver Park. This free, family-friendly festival has grown into one of the most anticipated fall celebrations in Marquette County. Highlights for 2026: Live music & a classic car show Local artisan & food vendors Family activities: bounce houses, dunk tank, craft stations Pie-eating contests for kids and adults New park amenities thanks to Powell Township’s SPARK grant renovations Fall Fest is about more than fun; it’s about community stewardship. It brings together locals and visitors to celebrate Big Bay’s culture, creativity, and connection to place.
