Tuesdays, September (1, 8, 15, 22, 29) 2026. 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Fridays, September (4, 11, 18, 25) 2026. Noon – 1:00 p.m. Peter White Public Library Heritage Room. Mediate Marquette and PWPL have collaborated to offer two weekly, in-person mindfulness meditation programs. Sessions will include a combination of talks, seated meditation, and movement practices. Let’s learn about MUSHROOMS – Learn about local mushrooms with mushroom expert Angie! Baraga county residents are invited to Join us for a two-day mushroom education event to learn about identifying, harvesting, and enjoying local wild mushrooms. Day 1 – Classroom day, September 2, 2026 – Ojibwa Senior Citizens Center – Will learn about mushroom identification, harvesting safety, and nutritional benefits!
