6/11/2025 The Beaumier U.P. Heritage Center at Northern Michigan University will offer three free walking tours of NMU’s campus this summer. All are open to the public. The tours are scheduled at 11 a.m. on June 20, July 11 and Aug. 8., beginning at the Carillon Towers next to the Northern Center just off Lee Drive. Reservations are not required. Each tour will take about 90 minutes to complete and participants will walk about one mile through campus.   The Northern Michigan University Department of Music is launching a new series titled Summer Concerts at Reynolds, which will take place on Tuesdays in June and July in Reynolds Recital Hall. This year’s series will highlight the department’s faculty, all of whom are highly trained professional musicians, in addition to teaching full time. One or more faculty members will be featured during each performance.
