    Medical debt ruins lives in our community. Together, we can address this issue by providing short-term debt relief and working toward a future where healthcare is a human right, not a commodity. Please join Keweenaw Indivisible at the Stronger Together fundraiser on the evening of Tuesday, July 29th, from 6:00-9:00 at Small Craft, 101 Navy St. in Hancock. Enjoy music, food, and hope – every dollar brings relief. 100% of your tax-deductible donation goes towards eliminating undue medical debt in collections in our community. This initiative is organized by Keweenaw Indivisible IN PARTNERSHIP WITH UNDUE MEDICAL DEBT with the goal of raising $15,000.

  • Bubble, Bubble, Splash!

    Wednesday July 30, 2025. 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. Peter White Public Library Front Street Steps & Lawn. Dress to get wet at our annual Bubble, Bubble, Splash summer event! There will be sprinklers, toy car wash, BUBBLES!, water play and more! Swimsuits and towels highly recommended. For youth of all ages. Youth under the age of 8 must have an adult present.     The Downtown Marquette Farmers Market will be turning the 100 block of W. Washington St. into a festive Night Market where you will find over 60 vendors gathered to exhibit their locally grown, collected, and crafted products. Stop by every Wednesday night from 5 pm – 8 pm to enjoy the local farmers, bakers, artisans, musicians, and more!

  • Chassell Heritage Center Summer Program

    Chassell Heritage Center 42373 N. Hancock Street, Chassell, Michigan

    July 31st – Rod Liimastainen – Documentary & Talk on the 20 Millionth Ford Model A   7pm – Chassell Heritage Center   Hear the intriguing history of the famous tour in 1931 of the 20 Millionth Ford Model A, its disappearance, reappearance and full restoration by Ford Co. in 2000.  This car will on display with a Ford Model T.

    The Salvation Army and CCAM are joining forces for a Stuff the Bus event this Friday & Saturday 9-5 p.m. at our Houghton Walmart. Help kids start strong by providing school backpacks and supplies.
