Tuesdays, July (7, 14, 21, 28) 2026. 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Fridays, July (3, 10, 17, 24, 31) 2026. Noon – 1:00 p.m. Peter White Public Library Heritage Room.  Mediate Marquette and PWPL have collaborated to offer two weekly, in-person mindfulness meditation programs. Sessions will include a combination of talks, seated meditation, and movement practices. Marquette City Manager Karen Kovacs will hold her next community office hours on Wednesday, July 8 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Shiras Room, on the top level of Peter White Public Library (Front Street side). The meeting is intended to provide an informal opportunity to discuss issues within the community, and to give citizens the opportunity for direct dialogue with City staff about interests and concerns

Monday July 6 (12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.) Wednesday July 8 (2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.)  Friday July 10 (11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) Peter White Public Library Great Room.  Drop in during any of our LEGO building days during summer 2026’s LEGO Week to build with the library’s LEGO bricks! Youth of all ages welcome. Wednesday, July 8, 2026. Meeting begins at 5:00 p.m.  Peter White Public Library, Shiras Room. Joint meeting of the Township Advisory Council and Board of Trustees of the Peter White Public Library. No regular Board business will be conducted at this meeting. The meeting is open to all. Wednesdays, July (8, 15, 22, 29), 2026, 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.  Peter White Public Library Front Street Steps.  Teens, Family, Adults, Seniors. Dust off your lawn chairs and unpack your picnic blankets–Concert on the Steps is back! This summer, enjoy an all-star lineup of incredible performances right on the library historical steps. Silver Creek Church and Silver Creek Thrift are partnering with Feeding America West Michigan to host a Mobile Food Pantry. Distribution will take place at Silver Creek Church, 219 Silver Creek Road in Harvey, on Thursday, July 9. Food distribution will begin at 10:00am and continue while supplies last or until 11:30am. Food will be available for approximately 600 families. This will be a drive-thru event with directions given by parking lot attendants. Guests are asked to remain in their cars and have adequate space prepared in their trunk or back seat in advance to allow the distribution team to

Tuesdays & Thursdays July (2, 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, 30), 2026.  11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  Peter White Public Library Lower Level Lobby.  PWPL is once again partnering with Feeding America West Michigan in the Gather2Grow summer meals program and will serve as a pickup site for shelf stable meals.
