    Come join us for one more hike before the snow flies. The hike begins at the paved Sugarloaf parking lot on CR550 and proceeds to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain with its spectacular vistas of Lake Superior and the surrounding area. From the summit, the hike will descend along the NCT spur on the back side of Sugarloaf until it connects with the main NCT trail. The hike will then proceed west crossing over CR550 and several moderate, but beautiful rock outcroppings to Wetmore Pond. From the pond, it’s a short hike to the Wetmore Pond parking area where we
