Jordan, from Iron Golem Games and local DM’s, will lead groups of teens on an epic quest with this role-playing game. For students in grades 6-12. Registration is required, no admission charge. Brass Queens, a female-led brass band from Brooklyn featuring all-female horns with a sound that is deeply inspired by the New Orleans tradition, will perform at Northern Michigan University. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, in Reynolds Recital Hall.  Multiple brass instruments are featured in the group’s performances, including the sousaphone, trumpets, saxophones and trombones, along with other supporting instruments. Becoming a fixture in the local music scene and dubbed “the hardest working band in town,” the Brass Queens gained a dedicated following through outdoor performances on the streets of Brooklyn.
