Baraga County EDC Announces Community Update Event on January 20

Baraga, MI — The Baraga County Economic Development Corporation (EDC) is pleased to announce its upcoming Community Update Event on Tuesday, January 20, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Baraga Lakeside Inn, located at 900 US-41 in Baraga.

This annual gathering brings together local residents, business owners, stakeholders, and partners to hear about economic progress, celebrate community achievements, and look ahead to future opportunities in Baraga County.

The evening will feature:

• Guest Speaker: Marty Fittante, CEO of InvestUP
• Community Update Presentation
• Food and Cash Bar
• Networking Opportunities and Prizes
• EDC Project of the Year Recognition: Keweenaw Bay Indian Community – L’Anse Housing Project

“We’re excited to bring the community together to highlight the work happening across Baraga County and recognize key partners who continue to drive positive change in our region,” said Mary Myers, Director of Economic Development Services. “This event is a great opportunity to connect, learn, and celebrate the progress we’re making.”
