Comedian Andy Beningo brings his family-friendly comedian act to the Keweenaw.

 

Andy Beningo, crowned “Best Comedian” by both the Detroit Metro Times and Detroit Hour magazine, is set to captivate the Keweenaw once again with an unforgettable evening of laughter on Friday, October 24th. This comedy sensation will grace the stage of the newly christened Opisto Theatre (formerly the Chapel of St. Matthew), nestled in the heart of the former Finlandia University campus at 532 West Franklin. Don’t miss this special event, proudly presented by Real People Media, a 501c3 nonprofit and the driving force behind the beloved Red Jacket Jamboree and the Keweenaw Storytelling Center in Calumet.

Opening for Andy is the dynamic comedian and actor Des Mulrooney, bringing his unique brand of humor to the stage. The evening will also include a 15 minutes open mic between sets to give aspiring comedians the opportunity to showcase their talent in a 2 minute monologue.

 

Doors open at 6:30 pm, with Des Mulrooney taking the stage at 7 pm, followed by the incomparable Andy Beningo.
