General Membership Meeting Of The Marquette Area Chapter Of The North Country Trail

The next general membership meeting of the Marquette Area Chapter of the North Country Trail will be May 21, Thursday, at 6 p.m. in the Community Room (downstairs) at Peter White Public Library.

Our presenter will be MAC Trail Crew Leader Michael Sekely. Have you ever wondered what it’s like to attend the NCTA Annual Celebration Conference? Michael will share photos and stories from the 2023 conference in New York/Vermont and the 2025 conference in North Dakota, along with highlights from hikes in each region. You’ll also get a glimpse of both the eastern and western termini of the North Country Trail, as Michael has hiked to both! Join us for an interesting and informative evening filled with stories, photos, and trail adventures.

We’ll hear an update from trail crew leaders on the state of the trail in our region. Attendees will also learn about future chapter group activities and various volunteer opportunities.

The public is welcome; you do not have to be a member to attend. Hope to see you there!
