Saturday, April 4, 2026.  10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.  Peter White Public Library, George Shiras III Room.  Four mindfulness meditation and yoga teachers invite you to engage in a year of mindful living. Each month, one of the teachers will present a topic that addresses the different dimensions where we can practice mindfulness and presence. The intent is for us to cultivate mindfulness, care, and well-being individually and in our love, business, and social relationships. Monday, April 6 1 p.m.  In conjunction with Homeschool Hangout, the Negaunee Public Library will hold a graphic novel book club interest meeting at 1 p.m. Monday, April 6. Homeschool and nontraditionally schooled youth (such as online students) ages 10-18 are invited to attend and share ideas, decide meeting dates and times, and choose books for the group to read at this meeting. April 7 5 p.m. As part of the Negaunee Public Library’s “Readers Dozen Book Challenge,” the library is hosting an optional book club for all participants at 5 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month. The April meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 7, in the youth area. Participants are welcome to enjoy refreshments, share what they’ve been reading, swap recommendations for the coming month, and connect with fellow readers. This year’s Spring Lyceum will feature snowboarder, recent Olympian, and 2022 Olympics Gold Medalist, Nick Baumgartner.    There will be school performances on Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 April, with a community performance in Kaufman Auditorium on the evening of Wednesday 8 April at 7 p.m.
