Thursday and Friday, May 29-30 7:30 p.m Panowski Black Box Theatre Northern Michigan University Theatre & Dance will usher in Pride Month with a Drag Cabaret at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, May 29-30, in the Panowski Black Box Theatre. Thursday’s show will be followed by an opening night party with appetizers, beverages and a meet and greet with the cast and team   Tickets are $25 for the general public; $22 for NMU faculty/staff, seniors and military; $15 for students; and $5 for NMU students. Eagle Mine will host a series of community forums throughout Marquette County to provide updates on its operations and engage directly with local residents.   The forums are designed to create an open, two-way dialogue between Eagle Mine and the community. Monday, June 1, 2026,  6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m.  Peter White Public Library Shiras Room.  Teens, Family, Adults, Seniors. Join fiber artist Jody Trost for a Beginner Needle Felting Workshop. Learn basic needle felting and leave with your very own handmade felted project. Felting starter kits and wool provided. Please bring a small pair of scissors. Sessions will include a combination of talks, seated meditation, and movement practices.
