A delegation of seven Higashiomi citizens will arrive in Marquette on July 19 and depart on July 29, 2026, Our seven delegates are the Deputy Mayor, a Higashiomi City Council member, Higashiomi City Staff, members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Higashiomi International Exchange Association, and Higashiomi citizens. NMU Northern Center Lawn Monday, August 24 | 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Fall Fest will take place on Monday, August 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (with check-in starting at 9:00 a.m.), on the Northern Center Lawn.   Fall Fest is a festival that allows businesses to introduce their product or service to the University community. Can you help at NMU’s Fall Fest on Monday, August 24th? We’re excited that our Marquette Area Chapter will be present at the event and we’re looking for volunteers to assist at our table. We will be greeting students and sharing information about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities on the trail.   Volunteer shifts are available from 11 am to 1 pm or from 1 pm to 3 pm, but we’re flexible, so let us know your availability.
