    Tuesdays, June (2, 9, 16, 23, 30) 2026.  6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Fridays, June (5, 12, 26) 2026.  Noon – 1:00 p.m. Peter White Public Library Heritage Room.  Mediate Marquette and PWPL have collaborated to offer two in-person mindfulness meditation programs each week this summer. Sessions will include a combination of talks, seated meditation, and movement practices.     Tuesdays & Thursdays June (9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25, 30), 2026.  11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  Peter White Public Library Lower Level Lobby.  PWPL is once again partnering with Feeding America West Michigan in the Gather2Grow summer meals program and will serve as a pickup site for shelf stable meals. Available at no cost to all youth (18 and under) and disabled adults up to age 26.   • Freedom Monument Installed At Harlow Park

    July 4, 2026  11:00am  Harlow Park The Freedom Monument podiums have been installed at Harlow Park (corner of W Washington St and N 7th St) within the Veterans Memorial Mall. A formal dedication ceremony will take place on July 4, 2026 at 11:00am as a part of the American Legion Post 44 Independence Day event. In addition to their commemorative function, the granite podiums will serve as a platform for ongoing education and civic engagement, offering space for community groups and classrooms.
