Copper Country Soccer Association and Houghton FC are reminding families that registration for Summer Recreational Soccer opportunities will close on May 7th. Registration is open for boys and girls born from 2007 to 2021. Both area soccer clubs have combined efforts to offer one recreational program for area youth this summer. UP Wild in the Keweenaw would like to announce its upcoming monthly event. Wilderness Walk Sunday, May 11, 2025 at 3:00 pm Paavola Wetlands Nature Area – Off No. 9 Road in Paavola Location The Wilderness Walks are opportunities to connect with God and each other in an outdoor natural setting.  Each walk has a leader who will guide the walk and stop along the way for readings and reflection.  The walks are appropriate for all ages including families and children. The nature area contains miles of hiking trails suitable for visitors of all accessibility. Everyone is welcome, no religious affiliation is necessary.
