Courtney Lake Horse Camp and Ride August 9, 2025 ride with MI-TRALE equestrians members on the beautiful Courtney Lake Trails and Campground. The 14 miles of mostly sandy trails takes you through a diverse forest landscape, around and near two lakes and across the Firesteel River. Six of the 21 campsites are set up for horses with corrals. Campsites are on a first come first serve basis and you pay at the campground. There are dispersed campsites options nearby, as well as parking areas for day-use visitors. Wilderness Walk Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. McLain State Park – Beach Pavilion The Wilderness Walks are opportunities to connect with God and each other in an outdoor natural setting. Each walk has a leader who will guide the walk and stop along the way for readings and reflection. The walks are appropriate for all ages including families and children.
