    Dollar Bay’s Kindergarten Registration is open! The DB Kindergarten Round-Up will be Friday, April 17, at 2:15 at the Dollar Bay School. Kids will hear a story read by the teacher, have a cookie in the lunchroom, and take a school bus ride around the neighborhood. Families of kids who will be 5 years old by September 1 are warmly invited. The registration form can be found under the Parents tab of the school website.     The Keweenaw Symphony Orchestra at Michigan Tech is performing the Resurrection Symphony by Gustav Mahler on April 18, 2026, at the Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts. It is the finale of the Rozsa’s 25th anniversary season. The symphony lasts an hour and a half and is the largest choral-orchestral work ever presented in the Upper Peninsula. This will be the first performance of the Resurrection Symphony in the Upper Peninsula, 132 years after its composition. The symphony is massive, with 10 horns, 8 trumpets, 4 trombones, an off-stage brass choir, two harps, organ, large symphonic choir, and soloists. Members
