Copper Country Angel Mission Starts Annual Socks & Undies Drive for Local Students   Help Local Students Start the School Year with Confidence   Copper Country Angel Mission is launching its annual Socks & Undies Drive to collect new socks and underwear for local children in need, from toddlers through teenagers. The goal is to help every school-aged child begin the year with dignity, comfort, and the confidence that comes from having brand-new essentials.   Distribution The Angel Mission is again partnering with The Salvation Army – Copper Country – Bread of Life Center to distribute these essentials through CCAM’s

It’s time to plant! With summer in full swing, the woods and meadows are alive with flowers. You can bring that natural beauty home by adding native plants to your yard. The Wild Ones Keweenaw Chapter is holding its late summer plant sale online at keweenaw.wildones.org. More than two dozen species are available, including scarlet bee balm, purple coneflower, and Jack in the pulpit, plus two different mini-gardens for monarch butterflies.
