Keweenaw Support 4 Healthy Minds monthly meeting: Tuesday, January 28th, 2025 @ 6:30 pm Portage Lake District Library Meeting Room Houghton, MI 49931 Keweenaw Support 4 Healthy Minds is a public group, and we welcome anyone interested in our mission: “to support healthy minds through connection and community.” Our goals are to talk more openly about mental health to reduce stigma, to build a resilient community by educating the public, and to support those at risk for mental health and substance use crises. March for Life February 1, 2025 from 12 – 2pm We will leave from the MTU clock tower at 12 pm and march for the Life Outreach Center in Hancock. Please arrive early so we can leave on time. The march will be a peaceful demonstration. We will have signs available or feel free to make your own sign to bring. The Roman Catholic Mass is celebrated in a chapel hand-built from ice and snow by MTU students and community members. The Ice Mass has gained international attention; it is a unique expression of Catholic faith in the deep snow country of the Keweenaw with over 500 in attendance

The Nature Prayer Services are opportunities to connect with God, nature, and each other in a relaxed setting. Each service has a leader who will guide the service with prayers, readings, and reflection. Everyone is welcome, no religious affiliation is necessary.
