UP Wild Wilderness Walk Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Gardeners Creek Nature Trail (Gather at the Calumet Waterworks parking lot.) The Wilderness Walks are opportunities to connect with God and each other in an outdoor natural setting. Each walk has a leader who will guide the walk and stop along the way for readings and reflection. The walks are appropriate for all ages, including families and children. No religious affiliation is necessary. Everyone is welcome!
Better Together will meet on Thursday, August 13 at 9:30 at the Zion Lutheran Church on 400 Ingot Street in Hancock. The speaker and special music will be provided by Yvonne Blake of Ontonagon. Yvonne is a professional recording artist and composer. In addition to her music, she will speak on, “Women Walking With Women.” Her topic fits perfectly with the goal of Better Together.
