Join us on Saturday, November 23rd for our first Holiday Festival Craft Show featuring local artisan, vendors and award winning East Fork Pasty Co.  There will be over 20 crafters and vendors for all your gift giving needs.  The Holiday Craft Show will be in the Gay Community Hall. There will be a variety of goods from table runners, stockings, glasswork, quilts, brooms, candles, painted rocks and more.  Come join in the festivities. The Michigan Tech Mind Trekkers, UP Michigan Works!, the MiSTEM Network, and the OneUP Collaborative invite you to participate in the 2024 OneUP Copper Trail Festival, a STEM and career expo for middle school students! The event will be hosted on Tuesday, December 10th from 8:30am-2:30pm in the Michigan Tech SDC Varsity Gym.   We believe STEM should be accessible to everyone, and this event is offered at no cost to schools or exhibitors, but we need your help to make it possible. We invite companies, nonprofits, and community organizations to join us in hosting hands-on activities that excite students about science, engineering, technology

Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw Counties – The Copper Country Great Start Parent Coalition   The Copper Country Great Start Collaborative is gearing up for our annual diaper drive to help provide essential items like diapers and wipes for families in our community. Each year, the Family Coalition collects new unopened packages of diapers and wipes for the Keweenaw Family Resource Center’s (KFRC) Baby Closet. These diapers are given away to families in need throughout the year at no charge.  Last year 150 families utilized the Baby Closet and received:   829 packages of diapers and wipes 16 pack-n-plays to provide safe sleep environments 33
